Quick list: Level 8 worker Pals by job
This table follows the visible source footage without reproducing its skipped numbering. Coordinates use the map marker visible in the footage when the spoken value differs slightly.
| Pal | Top work role shown | Source-footage location | Important note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solenne | Handiwork Lv.8 | Southwest World Tree forest | Small, Dark, nocturnal; Medicine Production Lv.2 is also shown. |
| Aegidron | Mining Lv.8 | World Tree: -1926, 1342 | Very large body; leave enough base space and clear paths. |
| Dandilord | Planting Lv.8 | World Tree: about -1680, 1647 | Handiwork Lv.6, Medicine Production Lv.6, Gathering Lv.5, and Transporting Lv.3 are also shown. |
| Shaolong | Watering Lv.8 | Southeast World Tree waterfalls | Flying mount; the footage does not establish a maximum flight-speed ranking. |
| Renjishi | Kindling Lv.8 | World Tree: -1589, 1580 | Handiwork Lv.6 and Gathering Lv.5 are also shown. |
| Celesdir Noct | Lumbering Lv.8 | World Tree: about -1926, 1403 | Gathering Lv.4 is also shown; its active partner effect has a health-drain tradeoff. |
| Bastigor | Cooling Lv.8 | World Tree frozen region | The source presents this as a major 1.0 work upgrade. |
| Orserk | Electricity Generation Lv.8 | World Tree red region | The source presents this as another major 1.0 work upgrade. |
| Jetragon | Gathering Lv.8 | Main Palpagos map: about -544, -1335 | The visible map marker is used instead of the slightly different narrated coordinate. |
Unlock the World Tree route first
Most Pals in this route appear in the World Tree region. The source footage says the area cannot be entered until the Sunreach main quest is complete, so finish that progression requirement before spending time on coordinates inside the region.
Once access is available, group the route by subregion: southwest forest for Solenne, southeast waterfalls for Shaolong, frozen terrain for Bastigor, and red or deep-red terrain for Orserk and Knocklem. Use the coordinate markers for the more specific Aegidron, Dandilord, Renjishi, and Celesdir Noct stops.
Solenne and Aegidron: Handiwork and Mining
Solenne is the compact Handiwork specialist. The footage shows Handiwork Lv.8 and Medicine Production Lv.2, while its Dark typing and nocturnal behavior make it attractive for bases that need work to continue at night. Search the forest at the southwest edge of the World Tree.
Aegidron is the Mining specialist at Lv.8. The visible marker is -1926, 1342. Its main practical drawback is size: a worker that cannot reach storage, ore, or a station will not deliver its paper advantage, so use wide routes and avoid crowded production lanes.
Dandilord, Shaolong, and Renjishi: core production roles
Dandilord covers Planting Lv.8 and several secondary jobs. Its displayed partner skill adds poison buildup to the player's attacks and protects the player and Pals from poison, including World Tree gas. The visible map marker is approximately -1680, 1647.
Shaolong covers Watering Lv.8 and can be used as a flying mount. Search the southeast World Tree around the waterfalls. The source gives a positive riding impression but does not compare top speed, so this guide does not label it the fastest mount.
Renjishi covers Kindling Lv.8, with Handiwork Lv.6 and Gathering Lv.5 also shown. Its partner skill adds burn buildup to the player's attacks. The visible marker is -1589, 1580.
Celesdir Noct: understand the 40% attack tradeoff
Celesdir Noct is the Lumbering Lv.8 specialist and also shows Gathering Lv.4. The partner-skill description says the Pal fighting beside the player gradually loses health while gaining 40% attack.
The source creator clarifies that benched party Pals do not continuously lose health; the drain applies to the Pal actively fighting beside the player. Treat that exact behavior and percentage as patch-sensitive until it is independently retested. The visible map marker is approximately -1926, 1403.
Bastigor, Orserk, and Jetragon: Cooling, power, and Gathering
Bastigor is shown with Cooling Lv.8 and is found across the World Tree's frozen region. Orserk is shown with Electricity Generation Lv.8 in the red World Tree region. Both are presented as existing Pals that received major work upgrades in the 1.0 footage.
Jetragon is shown with Gathering Lv.8. The source map places it on the main Palpagos map at approximately -544, -1335. The narration uses a nearby but different coordinate, so this guide follows the visible map marker rather than claiming a single exact spawn pixel.
Transporting caveat: Knocklem is Level 7 in this footage
The source does not confirm a Level 8 Transporting Pal. Its highest Transporting example is Knocklem, shown at Transporting Lv.7 and Mining Lv.7 in the deep-red World Tree region.
This distinction matters because the source title and opening can sound like every major job reaches Level 8. The footage itself stops at Level 7 for Transporting, so this page and the localized video state that caveat directly.
Bonus base defender: Panthalus
Panthalus is not a worker in the footage and has no Work Suitability. It is included as a bonus base-defense option: when deployed at a base, it rises into the air and acts like a flying carrier against attackers.
The source says Panthalus becomes available after the Sunreach main quest. Treat the exact unlock and defensive behavior as source-footage guidance until they are retested on the newest build.
How to choose which worker to catch first
- Catch Solenne first if manual production and crafting queues are your bottleneck.
- Prioritize Aegidron when ore throughput matters and your base has room for a very large worker.
- Use Dandilord, Shaolong, and Renjishi to strengthen a complete crop, Watering, and Kindling production chain.
- Choose Celesdir Noct when Lumbering throughput matters, but separate its base role from its health-drain combat effect.
- Add Bastigor and Orserk when refrigerators, power generation, or advanced production are stalling.
- Use Jetragon for Gathering only after confirming the current spawn marker in your build.
- Do not plan around Level 8 Transporting from this footage; Knocklem is the verified Level 7 example shown here.
Verification and coordinate policy
The footage carries the build marker v1.0.0.100427. This page translates what is visibly demonstrated, but it does not silently promote source claims into independent current-patch tests.
Coordinates are deliberately labeled source-footage markers or approximate when the narration and on-screen map differ. After a hotfix, compare your current Paldex habitat view and map before committing to a long World Tree route.
