What is Sunreach?
Sunreach is a new airborne region made up of islands floating above Palpagos through the power of Paldium. Pocketpair describes it as an environment unlike the surface, with a distinct civilization that developed there over a long period.
It is one of Version 1.0's major destinations and supports new exploration, story, combat, Pal, resource, crafting, and building content.

Soralite and new progression
Soralite is an ore found only in Sunreach according to the official changelog. Soralite Ingots are used in new equipment, while the resource also supports additional crafting and building progression.
The Plasma Multicutter is confirmed as a new gathering tool, and Pocketpair says Sunreach ores require specialized equipment. The fastest tool progression and most efficient deposit route need in-game verification.
How Sunreach connects to Version 1.0
Sunreach is part of the reworked story path leading toward the World Tree. It also participates in the broader Version 1.0 progression changes, including a level cap of 80, new technologies, revised missions, new Pals, and rebalanced rewards.
